Transforming mental healthcare

We are a group of doctoral-level psychologists and psychiatrists who provide quality mental health care. As a mental health collective, we assist members by providing therapy, medication management, coaching, and more. We help our clients connect with one of our doctors who can meet their needs and is available online or in-person.

A modern approach

It’s essential for us that our clients get personalized suggestions on who from our team is the best match. Rather than do things the typical way, we’ve created a system designed around our patients’ needs.

The Borderline Babe

Veronica is the founder of Borderline Babe, this is her story.

Veronica’s ongoing journey with mental health has included battles with anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, anorexia and, ultimately, a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (BPD) at age 21. She is currently in ongoing treatment for BPD and suicidal ideation in the Psychiatry High Risk Program (PHRP) at Upstate University Hospital (Syracuse, NY). Veronica’s journey at the PHRP began in June 2022, following her BPD diagnosis. She left the program briefly in December of 2022, but returned in July of 2023, and not only successfully completed the program’s initial year of treatment, but saw complete remission of symptoms of all her mental illnesses/ mental health disorders. Veronica was one of the PHRP’s most challenging cases of BPD in terms of personality structure, so the success of her treatment attests to how amazing the program/therapy is. Veronica has remained an active patient in the PHRP, utilizing both the long-term maintenance therapy program, and the more intensive/acute “booster” therapy intervention, to support her ongoing recovery and maintain remission of symptoms. Veronica credits the wonderful people at the PHRP with saving her life.

Veronica believes it is her life’s mission to advocate for mental health awareness by sharing her own personal experience/struggles/story. Her call to advocacy began in May of 2024, when she started writing (founded, created) a regular mental health column, Beautiful, Powerful, Deserving, for Kelly Breuer in Rochester Woman Online Magazine (RWO). Say more about this? Veronica continues to write monthly articles for RWO, focused on…  Veronica served on the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder’s (NEABPD)  Lived Experience Committee from August 2024 - April 2025 (exact times? General estimates), and wrote several blog posts for the committee while involved with the organization. She has also had the honor of speaking on behalf of the Upstate Foundation and the PHRP at several conferences and presentations.

Borderline Babe is a deeply personal continuation of Veronica’s work in mental health advocacy.

Raw, raunchy, and unfiltered, this blog will tackle taboo topics that often go ?? (sex, love, relationships). Bringing things that happen at night/ in the dark out into the light of day, less scary. Veronica wants you to know you are not alone.

Essentially, Borderline Babe is Veronica’s diary, and she is inviting you to read it/share it with her. Experience Veronica navigate life, love, and sex, all while dealing with mental illness with her/in real time. She wants you to feel her pain, suffer her losses, and taste her tears. She wants you to wear her smile, rejoice in her successes, and breathe her laugh.

Outside of her work in mental health advocacy, Veronica leads a full and vibrant/colorful/joyful life. She is blessed to be surrounded by a loving and supportive community, and cherishes many meaningful relationships with close family and friends. Upon the completion of her initial treatment for BPD, Veronica was able to pursue her years-long goal of becoming an medical aesthetician. She received her license in December 2024, and now holds an esteemed position in the industry. Veronica is continuing her education and will be starting nursing school next year. While she plans to go into aesthetic nursing, Veronica is also interested in emergency/trauma, burn care, and psychiatry nursing specialties.

Veronica will be competing in the Miss NY for America Strong Pageant in June 2026. She will be running under the title, Miss Upstate NY, a name chosen in honor of the PHRP staff, who Veronica credits with saving her life.

These days, Veronica finds beauty in the mundane, and is at peace with herself. She is a homebody who loves to get dressed up, but hates to go out. Over the years she has cultivated a healthy lifestyle that is supportive of her whole body wellness and continued commitment to recovery. She’s a morning person to the extreme, but can’t stay up past 10 pm (unless she’s manic…). She believes exercise is medicine, and her celebrity crush is Joseph Pilates. Cooking, baking healthy recipes farmer’s market She wants to live on a farm, have a garden
